I wont worry about MPGS is if never drove from Arizona to Alaska.
thats a hike. how often do you do this? I drove from Washington to Montana a few times but I expected single digit mileage because of the mods. was presently surprised when I was at about 15 or so.

I wheel my JL 2 door Rubicon with the 2.0 with 35s on the stock suspension. It handles great and does not rub at full flex. I have the 35 KO2s mounted on AEV Pintler JL wheels, which have a lot to do with them fitting without rubbing. I used the AEV pro snap to calibrate for the larger tire size. I saw a very small change in MPG perhaps a loss of .5 to 1 MPG. I’m able to get 26 mpg at 70 on the highway. Average is MPG 20. I use premium 93 or 91 fuel at all times, which absolutely helps with getting better MPG and more power. Unless you are going to be really testing your JLUR on really difficult obstacles 37s are overkill, if you want 37s for looks that’s another story. I was able to find my wheel and tire setup slightly used (<5000) miles on marketplace for only $1500 and sell my stock set up for $1300. My recommendation would be to start with 35s on stock suspension and go wheeling. If they hold you back do the lift and 37s. I think you’ll regret 35s with a lift, it look silly and does little to improve the capability of the Jeep. That being said a JLUR on stock 33s is a beast. I wheeled on that setup for over and year and never had an issue.

I wouldn't necessarily say a stock JLUR on 33s is a "beast" off road. They drag their belly way too often to be considered a beast. A stock JLR is really good, but the longer length of a JLUR requires at least 35s to be close to equal to a JLR on 33s.

Very hard to take that 200lbs tent my friend. I know on 35s without a tent with my 4.88 i used to get 17.9 mpg.
This is my Jeep and my wife FJ Cruiser
I think you'll find that RTT and Rotopax the primary culprits. A very low profile DeeZee roof bar set (not even a rack) cost me .5 mpg at 55

I have a JLUR w/ the little turbsky. No lift yet, oem wheels/tires. Steel front/rear bumper and rock rails. Currently get 22-23 mpg in the summer and it's been dropping to 21/20 now that it's getting cold.

Hopefully in a few weeks from now I'll have my 3.5 inch lift and 37" K02s on KMC machete beadlocks on the Jeep. Will report back how much the mpg drops after those mods lol.

Thought I remember reading people seeing 17-18 mpg with similar setups.

3.6 manual , 2 inch Rancho lift on 35’s. I’m getting 19.4 mpg and dying to pull the trigger on 37’s soon. I won’t regear right away but will eventually go 4.88’s. I also have the SB filters ram air intake which does give me a couple extra mpg’s

That's crazy. Completely stock JLUR 6-speed and I get 15-16 mpg average in FL where it's completely flat. Does your mpg have anything to do with your high elevation?

I’m sure it comes into play.

Mine is manual as well rocking on Centerforce Clutch! You might need to regear with 37s :)

My shop recommends 5.13s and new axels for 37’s. I went with 35’s and 488s. Works fine for the trails and places I go.

I do think with a 2.5” lift 37s look better ...
My brother and I both bumped up from 35s to 37s. The stock 410s have worked great for both of us. He has about 20,000 miles on his 2019, roughly half of which has been off-road. No complaints. The 410s work fine. Having said that, he recently swapped in 488s, and it’s a good Improvement. The “overdrive“ gear is back, the acceleration up steep grade is easier, and his fuel economy is about the same.

you could put off the 488s for a year or four, but the 37s are great. (We’re both running KO2s, so they’re not really 37s… more like 35.5s.)

Stock ‘21 2 door 2.0L Rubicon and cruise set on 78 mph through Kentucky and Tennessee; best we could average was just under 19 mpg.
As soon as my ‘22 shows up, I’m ordering a diesel.
