Hello all,

I’m trying to install an amp in my 2021 rubicon but can’t find the gourmet everyone is using to run the power wire through on the driver side. I have a stick shift and it seems the firewall hole everyone is using is for a nut for the clutch. Do anyone on here have a stick shift and ran power wire through firewall? Please help

Yea our hydraulic clutch is on that side of the access on the fire wall. Gotta go through the passenger side gromet, which i saw someone else post about a nipple on it that you can cut/drill/push through.

Gotta remove the fender. Thats what I did and i suspect a lot of others as well. There are vids on that. If its a brand new Jeep then the clips should pop off easy but they can break.

I had mine installed by the dealership of all places and the lazy tech ran wire loom up through the floor drain plug on the passenger side and kind of half assed forced the rubber plug back in. It’ll be the first thing I check when they stop working.

Wow there is so much bad about that route. Impact, corrosion, etc.

Just did mine for installing the Rock Slide Engineering steps\rock sliders. Its just below\beside the master brake cylinder. You have to push from the inside of your jeep to pop it out.

How do you get it back in so the hole is sealed?

I had to push very hard from the outside to get back in. Then I applied some silicone.

That’s not acceptable. I would’ve complained.

@JeepCares it would be great if we can get a firewall hole on the passenger side, so we can wire stuff to the battery. This forum is full of "how do I run cables through the firewall?" threads. :)
