I love the factory Rubicon black alloy rims, but yeh, 35s will be hard to fit without spacers.

Especially on the export right-hand-drive version.

A cool alternative I found was from a Japanese manufacturer Jeppesen. They basically make a recreation of the Rubicon black alloys in various colours.
I actually think the little bolts on the outer edge actually makes them look even better than the factory Rubicon black alloy option TBH

SIZE
17inch 8.0inch wide 5/127 +41

Slightly wider rim although the offset may not be enough to fit 35s without rub. Narrower 35s or maybe 315/70/r17 might be OK.

Those actually look really good. Found their website, but am looking for a source here in the US that sells them to get an idea of price and availability. Agree that the look of the edge bolts is not bad at all.

This looks sweet. Could you tell me if those are 35’s or 315’s and is there any lift?
they are 315/70R17 with 1.75” spidertrax wheel spacers and 2.5” Metalcloak game changer lift. Rides better than stock on and offroad and flexes like crazy.

I use mine in extreme areas with minor damage to edges. I use Synergy 1.75” spacers. No issues or concerns.

What tire size is this? From this angle, they don't seem to be sticking out past the flares/fender.

You guys over in the US, you forgot one big point. You already have big tires on your stock Rubicon ;-) Here in Germany a JL Rubicon comes with poor 255/75 R17 and Low fenders instead of the 285/70R17 and high fenders.

I also DO love the Stock Rubicon Rims, for warranty reasons I will Jeep them at least till 08/2024, after that, maybe Upgrade to 285/70R17 and high fenders.

Or some 305/70R17, but then with ohers wheels, cause just with a handful of aftermarket rims we are able, in co-op with the 2,5" AEV lift, to get more payload in our Jeep. And that will be necessary cause the more weight of bigger rims and tires is a lot and you aren't able to legally overland with a 2door JL, looking to weight limitations.

Those look like 35's on stock rims. They don't stick out past the flares except maybe a quarter of an inch or so.

I love the looks of the Rubicon upgraded wheels. They look like they belong there. I have search for aftermarket wheels and at least to me, there are not many rims that look better than the OEM ones. Was not a fan the first time I saw them but I think I like them depending on the color of the Wrangler. Also, they are light and when going to 35s and 37s that is some weight savings. Personally I like the look without spacers and the tires to be flush with the fenders. In a Rubicon with 35s no spacers you will have no problem, but once you go different offsets and 35s without a lift is when you start having issues. So I'll say keep them!

Yup. That was what I was going to say too. Love the stock rubi look! and If i go bigger this is the wheel to get it done I think. Same look but a little wider....all boxes checked!
Only problem with these are they don’t have the little red Jeep painted on them.

I just put a new 2.5” lift on my JLU sport and went with Kenda Klever R/T KR601 LT35/10.5 R17
on my stock rims and no issue with rubbing or having to use spacers. I have not checked it yet at full flex but so far it’s doing good . Now the tires ended up be right at 34” when loaded. Hope this helps.

How did your 35'' Klevers fit on the spare tire rack? Did you feel the need to reinforce the tailgate?

You might be able to fit stock 35's on 11.5 or more if you use this curvy control arm
Knowing I didn't want to use wheel spacers on my JLUS, I went this route with these JKS adjustable front lower control arms (JKS 1625). On the OEM unit where the orange plug indicates where the tire rubbed.
