Hey everyone -

Preference on aluminum vs stainless? Would you paint or powder coat either? Trying to decide on inner fenders.

Thanks!

We ordered the new American adventure labs aluminum ones. We ordered them powder coated black but i might put them on my wife’s and get the bare down the road. I’ll clear the aluminum so it won’t stain or get dull though

Personally, I would paint inner fenders. Powder coating looks great but as soon as you get a chip, scratch, or pitting in the finish and you start seeing bare metal it's game over You'll never be able to 100% stop it from chipping away and difficult to touch up so you'll never get it to look like new again. Paint is quick, easy, and less expensive. If paint scratches it's easy to touch up and make look new again. I plan on painting any rock sliders and bumpers I add to my jeep.
