If your rental had the ones that you linked, those are an aftermarket upgrade. If I were Alpine I wouldn't want to be associated with the audio that comes with the JL.

Yeah I guess the rental company put those in, just seemed odd that they would but then again it was lifted and had bumpers

Delivering? You mean they started selling them without engine covers, right? They were taken off of some of the the build configurations and people are still whining about the lack of a piece of plastic.
