Hey guys,

The Alpine system applies a different eq curve when the rear wiper/defrost is unplugged. Does anyone know a way around this? I recently installed a Trektop and I do not care for the new settings.

I recall there was some sort of jumper mod for the same thing on a JK.

Will it not save the different setting if you tweak it for top off?

Has anyone come up with a solution for this? I have been pouring over the wiring diagrams. I need to find a way to make the Can Bus think the hard top is still on.

With out a doubt there is an EQ change with the top off. The Jk had several threads on how to set up a jumper to correct the issue.....I haven't seen anything for the JL yet...still searching.
