Just ask @cosine he knows!
I like the 2dr Bronco (hate the 4dr), but I would still buy a JL (but only a 2dr) before a Bronco all day long. Now a real quandary would be a 2 dr Bronco vs a 4dr JL. I think I would lean toward the 2dr Bronco, I always liked the 2dr bobtail (pre 78 models) and the current Bronco 2dr has a close resemblance to those models (if you have bad eyes and squint enough).
A 2 dr Bronco w/ 35s I would have no problem running, especially if it had better gearing than my Sport. But that said, it would take a Bronco that had many more options and quite a few more off road features to take my Sport S 2dr to the trading block for sure, I love this Jeep!

Here in Ca the 76 would need all smog equipment and be smog checked every 2yrs. The built 302 that was in the 69 is old enough to be exempt
Luckily in New Mexico it can be blowing flames and no one here gives a shit, lol.

They all have problems. The Grand Cherokee has had a terrible binding noise. It sat at the dealer for 58 days. Everything from the transmission back has been replaced and it hasn’t been fixed. Currently in litigation.

I love the complete open air experience too. Total open sky. I guarantee Jeep does the same thing next gen and gets rid of that center cross bar.
I hope Jeep doesn’t remove the cross bar. I like the look of the Bronco with the top down but I drove one and hated the fact that the stereo sucked. It was so weak because it only had some tiny speakers up front and nothing else except a few way in the back. It sounded like crap.

I see everyone talking about the new Bronco. Honestly all the extra technology is going to have more issues and that 10R50 transmission is garbage. My wife’s 10R50 failed at 6500 miles and she’s 2000 miles into her second and it’s already showing issues. Wife is looking at the 2022 Grand Cherokee.
Why shouldn't we talk about the Bronco?

The Bronco is the best thing that has happened to the Wrangler community.

It is only because of the Bronco that we have the 392.

It is only because of the Bronco that we have 35" tires from the factory in the XR package.

It is only because of the soon to arrive Bronco Raptor with factory 37s that we will have a chance of getting 37s and advanced bypass/reservoir shocks from the factory.

I hope we talk endless about to Bronco to give even more incentive to Jeep to continue to advance the Wrangler.

I absolutely hate the fact that we've got another option
Actually you don't have an option if you are looking for a vehicle to compete with the Jeep Wrangler 2 door functionally speaking.

They are two completely different vehicles.

I go to an Indian forum to discuss my Indian.
Sorry George but if your Indian is a 2001 it is not an Indian. It is a only a trademark name owned by 9 different companies. The Gilroy's were not bad but these are the real deal!!

My buddy and I did not even get through the first day going to Death Valley without having to wrench on his Bottle Cap engine!! But it was one of the most epic rides ever!! We were the odd couple. Him on his Gilroy and me on my Beta. Over 800 miles from driveway to Death Valley loop and back!!

Just funning with you BTW!! I had a chance to do a ride his Gilroy Chief from the Ubehebe Crater to almost Stovepipe Wells and boy what a hell of a ride!! Harley Davidsons are junk compared to the Indian. It was the heaviest and yet most well balanced bikes I ever swung a leg over!!

Hmm, comparing Indian to a Harley is kind of like comparing the Wrangler to a Bronco LOL!!

I don't think the Bronco is worth trashing, It's got a lot of good going on but it's just NOT a JLU.

Here's a pick of my son and I with his new Badlands Sasquatch addition. Fun to check out, they are both stock in the photo... My 4xE has way more articulation!

nice 4-out of curiosity how’s the parts situation for the rare ride. I have been riding for 55yrs and have only seen one that was occasionally street ridden. Too bad Indian didn’t keep up with the times and go OHV when Harley introduced the Knucklehead, they might have survived.
