Well this all certainly went in some sort of direction I wasn't expecting LOL

Hospital Update: Dad is out of ICU and in a facility now for a couple of weeks so he can have rehab/PT/OT post heart surgery complications.

Duck Update: I acquired a few more while spending time at the hospital, including a cool Batman one and one that is a duck skeleton. (To be fair, I tend to be more on the grunge/goth side of things and those ducks fit my personality perfectly).

My Ducking Update: I still have put a couple on Jeeps that I see have ducks already at the hospital. Because again, it's a sad place and they likely make someone happy.

Out of all of the vehicle forums I have been on over the years with the various types of vehicles I have owned, this one is definitely one of the most expressive, welcoming and hilarious. Thanks for cheering me up over this time everyone!!!
Glad he’s headed in the right direction. Also glad you have a good enough sense of humor to overlook some of the bizarre turns threads take on this forum.

I dont hate ducking. I found this thing on my jeep a few days ago, I have no idea what it is. I handed it to another jeeper, she seemed to like it.

That right there is a flounder from The Little mermaid. I swear these Jeep duck people are getting lazy. At this rate, it's not long before people start putting army men on Jeeps.

On the flip side, think of how it cost-effective that would be!!

Speaking of pedophiles with cost effective child's toys, look at this creep!!

Love ducks. IMHO, people that hate them are dead inside.

I've only received two since I've had my Jeep over the past 2.5 years. However, I keep a bag of them and my daughter loves handing them out.

I don't particularly care to have dozens lined up on my dash, but I do like the feeling of receiving one. It is a nice gesture.

I know some people hate the fact that Jeepers like to duck.

But, as someone who is new Jeep owner, it's something fun to see that someone appreciates my rig.

My dad is in the hospital and has been for over a week. I go to see and stay with him every day for a while between my fulltime job and my parttime job and being a wife. And when I come out to my Jeep, it makes me smile to see a duck sitting on it. So as someone who is in a place often full of sadness, it's a nice little pick me up to see after a long day. I have ducks in the back that I give out too...it makes me feel good that someone else is getting appreciation.

Try not to get mad when you might see an unwanted duck on your Jeep. You never know what the person who gave it to you is going through...it might just be the one thing that makes them feel good that day.
This is a fact. I love getting ducked and giving them out in return when I see a nice rig. The last duck I received was the week my grandmother died, back in August. It was a really, really rough week dealing with the family, the funeral home, packing up all her stuff and clearing out her apartment, playing taxi driver with the extra 1200 miles carting family to and fro all over town, and that silly little duck was the one bright part of that whole week. So thank you to whomever it was.

I truly don't understand how people can hold such disdain for a simple little thing that's meant to brighten your day. Like, put a sign on your door that says no ducks, I'm a grouch.

My two little girls absolutely LOVE when we go out on errands, cuz they know daddy is gonna turn it into a game and as we drive around, they're scanning parking lots for cool jeeps to duck. It makes them soooo happy.

When they find one they want to duck, they grab one of my cowboy ducks from the box I keep in the back with either a red or blue bandana, and then "sneak" up to the unoccupied Jeep and place it on the handle, giggling and skipping and running back to their seat in my Jeep, so they don't get "caught" before we leave. I love it. It makes errands day so much more entertaining for the whole family.

They currently are in a box in my garage, most of them. I still have like 40 of them left. I think I got like five or six of them in one of the trunks in my backseat area, just in case I see any really cool Jeeps that want to give them out to. However I don't display them, because I don't want to be associated with those duck freaks! 🤪

No, been driving Jeeps since 99' it used to be a group of people who would go 4wheeling, maybe help your buddy fix his Jeep, or put on the new lift. Not sure if anyone understands that anymore.

THIS. I wish I could give this more love than this forum will allow.
