Airbags and ESS (Battery Disconnect)

My RamMount finally arrived (after over a month of waiting) and I will continue on my axle gauge project. To pull the wires for the gauges, I will need to remove the dash pad (the top) and because I have to do that, will disconnecting the positive and negative cables from the main battery effectively "kill" the power throughout the systems or does the ESS battery have to be disconnected too?

I have no desire to set off my passenger airbag by mistake.
