Has anyone switched out there OEM radio for an aftermarket one?

I've had my OEM radio replaced and it is still having issues....

With everything being computer driven, it's it even possible?

TIA.....G

Forget swapping...I had a complete JL Audio upgrade...speakers, sub and amp. Didn't
want to deal with non compatibility issues. Same 7" screen...sounds amazing. You'd never
even know there's an upgrade until you listen. Factory system is horrible.

My issue is that 5 inch OEM radio will go blank or non-responsive. Jeep switched it out and the new radio is still doing the same.....

so I wonder if I upgrade to the 7 inch then? has anyone had issues with there 7 inch radio?

My 7" screen has been rock solid with only a couple issues that were resolved with TSBs/firmware updates.

If my unit ever dies down the road out of warranty, I've got my eye on the Stinger 10" aftermarket unit designed for the JLs.

Very possible, my Teyes CC3 android headunit can be had for as little as 2-$300

Search the Stinger 10. I have my sights set on this.
