Does anyone have links or suggestions for best aftermarket radio for 2018 JLU Sport? I currently have the 7'' screen and want something bigger, and preferably with wireless car play. Just wanted to know if anyone had insight or suggestions?

This is def the most expensive option. Im not sure how i feel about the whole casing, looks bulky........but it has wireless carplay and seems to have a ton of features!
I'm definitely not a fan of the outer trim and bulky buttons. The price is supposed to be lower than the original version, still a hard pill to swallow for sure! It seems to retain more OEM features and run a stable OS.

Three other options for a larger screen is this:

https://www.extremeterrain.com/insane-audio-jeep-wrangler-ultimate-head-unit-i-e-jl3001.html

or this:

https://www.crutchfield.com/S-JbkG1...VpNCru3nMfemKZDhdwL0WgehdRDHW33QaArphEALw_wcB

with one of these:

https://axxessinterfaces.com/product/AXPIO-JL1

and this:

http://metraonline.com/part/109-UN02

And I can't find anyone that has actually used the AXPIO-JL1. I have one and had the W4660Nex pioneer but ended up selling the radio and keeping my 8.4 and I added an MB Quart stage 6. Also with the AXPIO-JL1 you lose the fader. You can also go with iDatalink Maestro to adapt to the Jeep but they do not have a camera solution.

Third option is to pick up a Uconnect 8.4. They can be had on eBay for less than $1000. Not sure what you need to do to get the Jeep to talk to it but that is probably the least expensive way to go.

What did you pay if you dont mind me asking? and it does not have wireless car play correct?
Aloha @Archer85,

I bought it off the marketplace here on the forums. They come up from time to time - just need to be ready to pounce when so… price-wise, about $1K for the unit and integration kit together.

Correct, it doesn’t have wireless CarPlay, but I have a CarLinkIt dongle setup already, so plan on keeping/using that.

Cheers,
