Hello, I'm new to the jeep world. I have a new JL, with 35x12.50r20 and 20x10 wheels, are you saying i can mount the spare with the factory spare mount? I haven't tried it yet. Thanks for the help!

I have a tiny bit of space with 35s between the bumper. Fits great. Not planning on running this too long, I’ll be getting a bumper with a tire carrier.
Swings open just fine now. Not too concerned about the weight, they ship with 33s so 35s shouldn’t stress it too much for a few months.

It depends on the wheel, I think some people are having trouble fitting center of some wheels over the camera.... And a 20" should never be mounted on a jeep anyway, just kidding

Looks like AFE is jumping into the JL lift game. I wouldn't be the first to try it but here it goes... Looks to be a 2" coil and shock kit.

At $1200 that AFE kit makes the Mopar look like a bargain. I know AFE purchased SAW(sway a way) a few years ago so I'm sure the shocks are nice quality, but $1200 for only springs and shocks??
I agree, I think the mopar is not going to be priced that high compared to other lifts with comparable shocks and components. Time will tell

Great thread! It's quite hard to find the one to purchase especially if there's a lot of lift kit options. It's good to know some feedback on certain brands.

I have 33s on my Tacoma currently. I want 37s if not 40s for my rubi. I am looking into doing the Mopar lift kits since I heard they are better quality.

I heard Mopar is releasing there 4” lift with reservoir fox shocks?

Has anyone installed the 2" Mopar lift? Love to hear pros and cons. I was thinking of going that route just to stay with OEM parts and not have any warranty issues down the road. I'm lookng for a lift that will give me more offroad capability while not giving up on road ride quality, as It will be my daiily driver.
For that price there will be much better options in the near future. Why would an aftermarket lift affect your warranty any differently than a mopar lift? Hint: It won't.

Skyjacker was the first company to produce a 3.5"-4" kit apparently....cant say I am excited about that one but its out there...id rather do a home-made lift with wood blocks....im just saying.
What is the concern with Skyjacker?

So does the rubicon suspension increase height 1” over the sport/sport s suspension? Don’t mean with larger tires. Just the suspension itself. Thx.

It's my understanding that the suspension is the same on all the JL models. But the Rubicon has a higher front fender to accomodate larger tires if desired.

Hey guys, my gf ordered a new Sahara and it should be here some time soon. She's on it about getting wheels/tires/lift and wants it all here basically before the jeep so it's ready to go on.
I'm new to the jeep world, I'm a truck guy myself, but she wanted a jeep so here we are.
Couple questions, I see there isn't much in the way of lifts for these things yet, so we'll run a leveling spacer for the mean time until things come to market.
I saw some run a jk spacer? Seems like a cheap easy way to go since it'll be temporary. Will 37s fit on some 20x10s with a level? I'd like to not have to do tires twice.
2nd, how well will this thing do on stock gearing with 37s? I have a feeling itll be a dog but she wants to keep the warranty. So re gearing may have to wait a little.

I will say though these new JL's have come a long way for the price tag in comparison to their previous generations. I'm glad she waited.
Thanks for the help

The sport has 9.7” of GC 10” on the Sahara and 10.8 on the Rubicon
