I am getting ready to finish mine this weekend (hopefully) and I will video/take pics and show you how I wire mine - I have the same switches and power connector so let's see how it goes!
Great, I’m about to order mine and do it also.

i finished my wiring today and everything works great (I used the 12v adapter from Amazon mentioned a couple threads up). Basically just cut the connectors off the red/brown wires coming from the heated seat kit then spliced the reds and the browns and just screwed them into the block on the 12v adapter. Tucked all the wires back into the center console for the passenger side and under the steering wheel panel for the drivers side.

So nobody is doing an add-a-fuse to 57 or 58 of the fuse block? I would figure this would be easy/popular to get switched power to the seats. Anyone? Bueller???

I just wanted to say thank you! This guide was absolutely perfect for me! My wife has water the heated seats for a while now and I finally did it! Install was a breeze with this guide!!!!! Also thank you to everyone else that contributed wonderful information! BTW install is the exact same for cloth seats!

Question for the group. Would it be possible (or even make sense) to install the aftermarket seat heaters under a seat cover instead of removing the factory seat cover?

I do want to hard wire the heaters but do not like the idea of taking the factory covers off the seats.

I also have seat covers and have thought about adding aftermarket heated seats.

I've hesitated because the seat covers were a pain in the ass to put on, and so far there has only been two or three days that I wish I had heated seats... I park in a heated parking garage, so the only time I've needed them were on the really cold days after work.

So my question is... do the heated seats warm up quicker than the heater? Once I'm warm I turn the heat way down.

i mean if you're going to do go through all the work of wiring everything (you'll have to remove the seats anyway) you should just add the to the seats lol

Why not just wire switches to AUX switches?
If you're referring to the AUX switches in the Quadratec after-market, those switches are on/off. The switches that come with the heated seat package have high/off/low. Easier to just pop out the 2 AUX switches and pop-in the heated seat switches since they are already wired. Plus the AUX switches are not accessory switched so they stay on always (when switched on) unless you wire the control block from something other than the direct battery connection.

Did mine yesterday. Those little metal clips are a royal pain. But got it done in about 4 hours. Cold this morning so going to get to try them out right away. Thanks for the write up.

I did my rears couple years ago, but I took the seats to upholstery shop to have the elements installed under the leather. Did the wiring myself afterwards.
