Looking to get a bumper that ties into the factory bumper brackets and the factory hitch mount location. There are a LOT of bumpers out there, most are from Chinese companies. Anybody running any type of bumper with receiver built in?

Anyone have any recommendations on one? I'd like to stay at $600 or below.

Thanks.

I have the poison spyder bruiser rear bumper. It has a built-in receiver which is actually a higher class hitch than stock. I've towed a small trailer, hitch style bike rack and a cargo rack attached to the hitch with no problems. The bumper also came with mounting points for the stock 7-way plug. Although this bumper is a little steep in the price range (more than your $600 budget).

I have used a Poison Spyder bumper on my LJ to tow an 18ft travel trailer (3500lbs) without any issues..

We used an EAG on our JK and towed a 19' travel trailer (2,800lb dry weight) with no issues.

$600 budget will likely mean a Chinese bumper. While I'm no fan of most Chinese stuff, a bumper isn't rocket science as long as someone did a decent job of the design and they monitor the supplier. All the big car makers source components from China these days.

Thanks for the replies. The EAG ones LOOK like they are pretty chintzy. But I'm only seeing online pics.

I know that most things seem to come from China these days. When I said Chinese bumper what I really meant was one from those ebay and amazon sellers that are super cheap. I'm wary of using an "ebay bumper" for towing. There are so many though.

Poison Spyder is just too rich for my blood.
