I have one of those Doorman plugs just by chance. I may try this sometime just for giggles.

I just did the setup linked from the Alfa page.... quite happy with the outcome!
Any chance you could take a video or two of how it sounds?? Maybe a quick write up? I would love to see!!

I can't get to the clamp on the turbo side of mine at all to remove the hose. How did you get to it?

I had success. You can really hear the turbo now as it bleeds air at part throttle and blows off at the close of the throttle. It sounds good, but I will probably reinstall to DV tube. My fuel mileage when to pot...but only because I kept accelerating so I could hear it blow off...LOL

I'll try to get something together.
Basically, pull tube. Plug tube.

Alright. Not sure if there is a different calibration or what, but I popped a CEL this morning due to the DV. I have a good seal on the plug, and no leaks. Just a PSA.

Interesting, maybe since the system knows its supposed to recirculate instead of dump to the air? Definitely something to think about.

Do you know the actual CEL code the popped up?

No. It came on about 10 miles after removing the hose. I put everything back together, cleared the code, and have since put another 100 miles on it with no CEL. I wasn't in a place where I could easily take it to have the code read unfortunately.
