AEV REAR BUMPER & TIRE CARRIER

Is there anyone running the AEV rear bumper with the fuel caddy? Was looking to upgrade my tailgate and per AEV’s website the Mopar Tailgate Reinforcement will not clear the fuel caddy. Has anyone had any luck getting one to work?

No direct experience but looks like the reinforcement can be 'clearanced': here

Since you already have one of these bumpers installed and I am interested in buying one fo rmy 2020 JLUR, can you tell me if the bumper is strong enough so that if I come down on a rock can it push the bumper into the tub and damage it? Also, are the mud flaps located so that it is very inliklely to get crushed I I come down off of a rock? Thanks in advance.
