You would think now that they are doing builds with all the AEV gear they could give us a reasonable timeframe on when we can buy the bumpers.... is there really no info out there yet? Seems tacky for such a reputable company to leave so many customers in the dark for so long, especially when they acknowledged that they get asked ALL the time.

Just called for probably the 10th time. This time I was told rears maybe this month and front maybe summer / August.

I don’t really even care any more. With the ability to buy the Chinese Mopar version on eBay for next to nothing, I think I’m just gonna go that route.

good riddance.

If the rear can be available this month, I will be very happy, but again I doubt it. I just don't understand since they already made the bumpers for the turnkey package, unless they are hand crafting every single bumper, why can't they mass produce?

They probably only have enough for their turnkey builds. The full width front I think they had to redo.

Finally arrived yesterday. Love the way it handles. With the AEV suspension, the steering feels fantastic, no slack, nice and taut. And it rides much firmer than factory. I'll do a review of it once I drive it a little more and get familiar with everything.

I’m going to hold out for a rear AEV bumper for JL.... but I pulled the trigger on this Mopar performance bumper and it is awesome.... not as bulky as the AEV... but looks like it was made by them.

Did I hear (Starrs ?) that the front full size bumper was redesigned from what they put out at SEMA ?

That’s what I heard. I didn’t hear it from AEV directly so take tag for what it’s worth. That Mopar bumper looks like an AEV clone tho. Looks nice

Looks nice, now you need to add some Mopar offroad lights to it! Personally not a big fan of the AEV front bumper, block too much radiator IMO. The rear bumper is dope though, I had a hard time find anything closed to it, almost pull the trigger on Smittybilt SRC.

My wife has taken over my Jeep... and plowing through the streets of NYC don’t require the big lights... I even peeled the rubicon stickers off... she hasn’t noticed the 1.75” spacers nor the light guards front and rear... though she did catch the Jeep “wander”.

An update... They have figured out some engineering challenges on the full length bumper and it will be coming out later this year, and it will be modular. The look will not be exactly the same as SEMA, but prototypes are sometimes a little different than production version.

The stubby bumper that I have is not modular and does look a little different than the prototype they had at SEMA, like the tow hook at the bottom.
