Hahaha, nope.

I wouldn't expect anything sooner than the last hour of August (if in fact they announce in August).

Otherwise, expect August of 2021 - and that may be a long shot too ;)

I'm crossing my fingers it's within August though, otherwise i'm out on AEV completely and will go another route

Yesterday, AEV posted a photo of their 2 Door JL on Instagram with some unrelated caption. I immediately commented on the photo mentioning how I was anxiously awaiting the JL bumper/tire carrier release for my own 2 Door.

I noticed roughly 10 minutes later they had deleted the post all together. I’m unsure if anyone else started to question about the release. But.... It leads me to believe they’re completely avoiding the bumper release conversation all together.

I don’t see it dropping this month.

I too have been waiting for the rear bumper to become available. Hopefully they keep to the August announcement. If not ADD will be the way I go. My factory rear bumper has enough "trail rash" that it needs to be replaced LOL.

Either way. shipping it to Canada is going to cost me. Hopefully the base price isnt insane.
It will be. I can only imagine but I’m guessing it will be 2-3 times more than your average bumper out there because of their R&D investment and it taking this long...it will not be cheap

I am pretty sure the JK one is $1000~$2000 depends on how you config the add-ons (tire carrier, CHMSL, fuel can). That plus AEV never discounts their product, well only once because of COVID.

It's the final countdown!

12 more hours until August ends - will AEV release bumpers to purchase, as they stated in early July?

Probably not - but i sure hope i'm wrong. Giving it through after Labor Day weekend - if they aren't out, i'm moving on.

They had enough time to post about their new truck products today. Tired of all their silence on JL products.

Well, August came and went and no word. If they would just give us a release date or even a time frame that would satisfy most of us. I don't get why they are so hush hush about them?

Look guys; AEV is totally focused on the ZR2 Bison; they're selling like 4 dollar pu$$! - Which means the nickels and dimes they make off of us (retail jeep parts) isn't needed; we're totally inconsequential to their business plan - Watch (and listen) to a few of Dave's YouTube appearances and ask yourself if he gives the impression of giving a damn about this end of the business. I could be way off base, but the optics are pitiful. . .

By the way; 1st post and want to conclude it by saying Thank You - I really appreciate the effort that many of you put into your posts, it's been very helpful!

AEV makes some great products. With that being said, I’m over it, their are way better companies that are more committed to the JL. If anyone wants a good deal on some spent brass Borah’s let me know.
