Sorry for the picture orientation. I was in a hurry from my phone. Just do one side at a time and the axle housing will not move much when pulling the bolt out to move the "shims".

Yea, I'll probably back fill the bolt with a round pry bar to keep it from moving on me.

How did it slide over? I’m stumped here
It’s been a while. But I seem to remember that I had to hold the bracket in its proper orientation and rotate the bracket to thread it around the factory bracket. Seem to remember a slot in the bracket that allowed it to rotate on. Of course I might just be dreaming all this. Good luck.

That’s exactly what I did. Felt so stupid after it went right in place. But apparently I’m not the only one lol 😂
