I am almost completely baffled by wheel specs and requirements and would like to change out my existing 2019 JLUR stock rims with the Mayhem 8015 rims. I am hoping for some insight as to how these rims will differ from the stock rims. (tire poke and rubbing concerns as well as any addition equipment needed to properly mount them) I'm willing to change out the existing tires if need be.
Here are the Mayhem fitment notes:

  • Bolt Pattern: 5x127/139.7
  • Size: 17x9 in.
  • Finish: BLACK w/PRISM RED
  • Offset: +18 mm
  • Center Bore: 87 mm
  • Load Rating: 2500 lb
  • Backspace: 5.75 in
  • Wheel Weight: 32 lb
  • Lug Nut/Bolt Seat Type : 60 Degree Conical
  • Center Cap Part Number: C108015BR01
  • UPC Code: 729419130978
  • Winter Approved: Yes
  • TPMS Compatible: Yes
Thanks for the help!

So far completely stock jlur. I'm hoping to keep the original stock ko2 tires if possible. (285/70/R17)
At the time of the original post, I wasn't even sure that mayhem rim was even compatible.

You will need a hub centric ring adapter since the JLU hub center bore is 71.55mm. I would verify that the wheels do come with the hub centric rings prior to purchasing.

If the wheels do not come with the rings you’ll have to torque the lug nuts in increments of 20ft lbs to properly center the wheel on the hub.

9” is the max recommended by BFG on the 285 so you’re good there.

I run +18mm, but you will be limited in lift manufacturers if you decide to later because of the BS.

You’ll probably need spline drive lug nuts.

You should be fine on rub.
