Well, the time has come for me to say goodbye. I traded my Jeep over the weekend, and still have some mild, lingering regret. I have to say this forum has been great during the time I had my Jeep. I saved so much money on service and installation related costs from things I learned here. And there were so many members here always willing to offer advice and direction. I'll miss you guys.

And now, a retrospective...

Here she is the day I got her, 18 miles on the clock:

And here she is on our last day, 47k miles later:

I wanted to do that exact move. Trade my 23 High Tide with 6500 miles for an AT4. Paid 60k for the High Tide 10 months ago and the most I was offered on trade was 40K. Guess I'm keepin the JEEP, lol!

They gave me $35K for my Jeep. A little less than I wanted, but I had it listed for $40k on FB Marketplace for about a month, and didn't get any bites.

$35k is a great trade offer for a 2018. I'm impressed.

Enjoy the pickup truck! Guessing you need the utility of the bed.
That, and I also just wanted more luxury/modern features. My Jeep was a 2018 so it didn't have any newer features. My favorite features on the GMC are adaptive CC, the insane amount of cameras, and the massaging seats. And I still have front/rear lockers.

Made the opposite move when I got my Jeep (from an '07 GMC Sierra to my '21 Sahara Altitude) for similar reasons (more luxury features, etc).

GMC builds a really nice truck - I had 200K on mine with minimal issues. Enjoy the ride.

Might have been because I also traded my 2002 Corvette. They gave me $21k for it, which is what I paid for it 2.5 years ago. Prices on those have gone up, so maybe they thought they had more room on it.

Maybe...I would be ecstatic to be offered $35k for my 2021.

And that's how you know trading it was probably the wrong choice. There is no cure for that thought in the back of your head, "I miss my old Jeep" --except for buying another one.

That is a nice truck, though. Happy trails!

Edit: And you dumped a C5 Corvette in the shuffle? Oh, man...

Yep… I did keep the CCW wheels to sell separately though.
