Ok I messed up when I took delivery on my Atlitude. It didnt have the LED group and as such no DRL

Is there any way to add these or is not worth effort since the harness and controls are missing

Thanks

Don't worry, you didn't make a mistake. There is no getting factory DRL's on a sport wiring harness.

To be clear, I'm saying that even if you had ordered the "LED Headlamp and Fog Lamp Group" you would not have DRL's.

You can get DRL’s to work on a Sport. You won’t have a dedicated DRL it will use the turn signals as DRL’s. See this thread in the lighting section. @jludave is the guy who has lots of experience doing this.

You will need to download the JScan app and get a bypass cable and a OBD2 dongle.

Reach out to Dave, I’m sure he can give you info on getting it done.

which requires a fender swap
Not true. You can change the settings in the BCM to make your turn signals the DRL, then add switchback LED’s and have what you want. White DRL’s and amber turn signals.

Check the thread I linked to for more information

Oracle, a sponsor here, has the led’s you need among many other sources

does it also require a new harness.. I also dont see a control in the Uconnect Lighting options so I guess it would work but not be controlled ?

Thanks everyone

If you swap the flares, the new harness is part of the the light assembly. You will need to program the BCM with a programmer, either Tazer, JScan or Flashcal, there may be others. Flare swap is very easy. I have done it on my Sport S.
