Add Clear Coat to MP Concepts AL Bumper ??

I was able to purchase an open box MP concepts aluminum front bumper for my ‘21 JLUR. It is a nice bumper but the finish seems to be a slightly gritty powder coat…feels like sandpaper. I’m not worried about rust since it’s aluminum but it just seems like a finish that will fade easily and hold onto dirt easily.

I’m considered adding a clear coat or some other coating to seal the surface.

Does anyone have experience with this finish or have recommendations as to how to seal it?
