While I really like this carrier, I decided to pass on this one. My reasons were that I'm concerned about the apparent legality of the brake light (don't want to be stopped and hassled because the light is so small), and I'm unhappy that they don't offer some kind of replacement tape for the tape you have to cut through for the install. No disrespect meant to ACE, I love most of this carrier, figured I'd just reply so they had some feedback if they wanted it (or if they didn't). The only other product I've considered is a much more expensive bumper mounted carrier, so again, I think this is a great product at a great price, it just isn't for me. Thanks!

I like it pretty well, I was able to hook up my CB with no issue which was nice. No rattles with daily driving... The only down side is it has the spare sitting high and you will no longer have use of your rear window. Heres a few that I could find. Let me know if you want anything in particular and I'll snap em...

I installed one of the Ace stand Alone Tire carrier today. Fit and finish was great. Overall I thought it was an easy install. Still need to finish connecting all the wiring.

I added the slant back option to it, but I absolutely love it. It was exactly what I wanted in terms of additional clearance. Very satisfied with it, since I didn't want bumper mount, and the Ace plate/brake light/camera relocate kit kept everything where I wanted it. I ended up buying the ACE Hammerhead Rear Facia, and the front inner fenders as well (which did require some extra work modifying) but I'm very pleased with their stuff, and have not hesitated to recommend it to anyone. From what I've seen, they have quality down pat.
