Many of the storage solutions / tie downs for the rear of a JLU are mounted with the factory hardtop bolt holes. In the SOT however, the rear window panels cover the holes when they are in. Is it feasible to cut holes in the rear window panel plastic to allow use of the hardtop bolt holes when the rear windows are in?

Anyone done this? Any other solutions to this?

Thanks!

I can't say with certainty but that doesn't sound like a wise option to me. I have the SOT and went with a tray that bolts into the roll bar and the GPCA cargo (soft) cargo cover.

GPCA has flat metal pieces that go under the SOT rear window panels and stick out a bit so the straps can go through them when the windows are in.

But don't the flat metal pieces need to be bolted down?
