Not really sure why Jeep fans would be upset or post crap about a 392 that ran those numbers.
Those numbers are ridiculous (in a great way)! Made me happy and I’ve got a big smile and I don’t own or plan to own a 392.

But, come on…that’s the type of awesome that just makes you giddy up and giggle.

Someone need to get a custom hood sticker/ graphics that says: Hold On!

Love it!
"Her Highness" doesnt have that on the hood but she does have...

Why can’t you just Regear to 4.56? I’m actually considering this. Is it for the extra 10 mph?
I could. But I would also like to have the minor computer programming and mapping that I am sure comes with it, plus the modestly different shocks which come on the Recon. I guess just overall, having the total package with the least mods from the factory is my goal. This gets me just that much closer.

I know Jeeps are made for modification, but in my last one, I spent years chasing one mod after another after another and ended up with rattles, worn bushings, poor tracking, etc. And in the end I just wanted to get back to stock. Today if stock is 392 with 35's, man that is a win for me.

I read somewhere that the Jeep 4xe was being pushed as having the same power as the 392 (470hp) and just as fast?????? Maybe this was before people saw the 392 in the flesh but I drove the 4xe and let me tell you, it ain't no Hemi fast. I laughed when I read that headline. Has anyone seen actual 0-60 times for the 4xe?
4xe does 60 in 5.5-6s, depends on trim. You have to make sure to launch it correctly (engine running, using 4wd auto for full torque)

Anyway, how is this even possible? I had a 2015 Challenger SRT, yes with the same 392ci they put in the Wrangler, and that car was 4.7 secs. Yeah, its geared to 180mph, not 110 like the Jeep and only 2wD, but the Challenger's tires were wider and grippier. Something's amiss.
4.56’s and all wheel drive

Exactly. With the HP wars, most vehicles are traction limited on acceleration. 4WD makes a big difference. Plus the Challenger is very heavy as well.

Also gearing and the soft sprung suspension enabling more weight transfer on launch help.

I just sold my GT4, am on the list for a 911 GTS. But I'm considering dropping it all for a 392 with Xtreme Recon package. I can't believe I'm saying this.

Sold my Hellcat WB M6 for the 392 Wrangler and was 100% worth it. Close to 500hp in a Wrangler is a no Brainer best of both worlds. No to mention if you're not sold on it can make about 5-10k just reselling.👍
