I was driving on the beach this weekend with the doors off and noticed the engine area AC fan begin its howl .
I had turned off the AC, did not have it on MAX, but did still have blower fan on.
It was clearly blowing cold air from the vents.
I cycled the AC on/off, adjusted the temperature control it into and out of MAX AC, adjusted the mode/distribution knob, but the engine area fan kept howling and vents kept blowing cold.
I finally stopped and shut the Jeep off of a few minutes..
After re-start there was no engine area AC fan howl, and no longer blowing cold air from the vents.
As one would expect when the AC is off.
Anyone else have this happen?
