Edit: By best, I mean, not going to break, going to last for many miles. I'm afraid of buying something of poor quality that will break or wear out quickly.

I tried using the search option, but they were just way too many posts to look through on this topic. I'm looking at saving up to buy a lift kit for my 21 JLU Rubicon. I probably want something around a 3-in lift with 37s. Because I'm willing to save up and wait to get the very best, I'm wondering what the best brand to look at would be. I use my Wrangler for a daily driver, but don't really care so much about the comfort. I mostly do Forest mountain trails, or some fun back roads. I definitely want to get into some minor rock crawling, nothing crazy. Any advice would be much appreciated. If you have more questions to answer my question better, please ask. Thanks so much!

Asking what is the absolute "best" lift kit is a bit like asking what is the best dog. Everyone thinks theirs is the best, and nobody is really wrong. That being said I will be the first of many to suggest the Metalcloak Gamechanger.

“Best” is far too subjective. There are a few that are fairly well thought of universally.

MetalCloak
Rock Krawler

Where in TX? Couple good shops in S TX that are members on here could assist.

The major lift kit players are not putting out stuff that you need to have quality concerns about. They’ve been at it for a while and if they sold garbage they’d be trashed by consumers.

Oh, well that is an easy question. The best lift is the one that works for you. As the kits are all just a little bit different from each other, and many times within the brand themselves, figuring out what works best for you is slightly more difficult. First you need to honestly ask yourself what you want to do with your Jeep. If you are not doing the most extreme things, then you definitely don't need the most extreme kit.

I don’t think you’d go wrong selecting any of those I listed in post #3. Many people might have a favorite, but that’s possibly due to limited experience of only having had one and not the others. I have MetalCloak and I like it, but I can’t say it’s better than the others because I haven’t had them to compare it to.

I have a Metalcloak True Dual wiith added LCA's going on as we speak. I will put 37 KO2's on in the morning for reference. I will update ride quality and looks soon. I am VERY picky about stock or better than stock ride quality.

Trail Recon on YouTube has a great two part video where they get 7 JLs and install a different lift on each to review everything from the quality of the instructions, flex, ride quality, cost, etc.

True Dual is on. I definately got more than 2.5" as advertised. I am adding winch and heavy spare soon plus normal physics should drop it some. It looks ridiculous on stock wheels as it sits (parking lot is not level). I am picking it up from Discount Tire with new shoes in the next hour.

I'm planning on the Metal Cloak Game Changer 3.5" lift for my JLU. Haven't seen a single complaint about it yet.

That's not true. The Akita is the best dog and everyone knows that.
