Seeing that there aren't any skid marks anywhere, I bet it was dropped off there by a flat-bed tow truck. Probably got hammered out on a trail.

It looks like they went to the pack dunes, and went a little too "Airborne". Hard landing. It was probably towed to that location. That's going to clst.a.pretty penny to fix.

It looks like a pretty new xr too. I’m with the camp that it was somehow stolen then wrecked. Cant imagine a loving owner just leaving it on the side of the street like that.

Nothing was stripped off of it. Owner did something stupid with it, took it to a bad part of town and left it, then reported it stolen. Or he's waiting to contacted by the police so he can be "surprised" that his jeep is missing.

Definitely looks like it was jumped. With all of the videos out there showing how poorly these attempts end, why do people still do it?
