That there isn’t a day I regret the purchase.

From 20+ off road trips with the family. The smiles and giggles that go along with it.

To the support and guidance from the people on this board and the Jeep community in general.

To being able to once again wrench in the garage with my Pops.

Jeep ownership has helped me make some phenomenal memories.

If you’re on the fence about buying a Jeep, do it. I was leery after reading some of the horror stories in this forum, but ultimately I chalked it up to either a bad rig (it happens with every new car) or a uninformed purchaser.

And yes the mods are never complete, but that’s one of the best parts. (Pun always intended)

Thanks to all for your inspirational rigs, my wallet is lighter but my head is a whole lot happier.

I am getting my 3rd wrangler this month.. going back 7 years.. and we still have so much fun every time we hit the trails as a family. My kids have been offroading since they have had sufficient neck strength to make it safe lol.. and they still love it.. the love to explore, and hike, and pic nic... my wife is a photographer and loves getting out to beautiful spots.. So basically saying.. it's never gets old.. and ya you give us some luxury but you gain an activity that gets the family out of the house together to have an adventure, and a hobby to connect with friends.. my 7 year old daughter is already planning her first build for her wrangler. We are talking about 35s on a sahara, and getting a wrap to make it pink with black hearts on it lol.. I really hope we end up with a fleet of wranglers for me and the 2 kids.

You’re absolutely right, 2.5” lift, 37” tires.

which lift do you have?
how is the ride quality on the 37s, any thoughts of regearing, or with the lighter weight of the k02 does it still feel peppy..

I love the photos of the little cuties loving the Jeeps. My baby girl lives in Arizona and I’m missing her terribly.

We visited them and went to Sedona and ran Broken Arrow. My daughter’s fiancé did most of the driving and loved it. (I’ll have to go back so I can drive it  ). Big kids love the Jeeps, too.

I'm in the Springs and Colorado is by far the most beautiful state I've ever lived in or been to! It offers so much in terms of outdoor experience. That being said, I'm retiring this year and we are in the process of moving back to Oklahoma the land of flat, windy, extreme weather . Between spending almost every weekend snowboarding in the winter and exploring the trails in the summer. I honestly don't know what I am going to do for fun:(.
When you retire you are supposed to move to the nice place, not the other way around! Only two things in Oklahoma per Full Metal Jacket.

We will be retiring in a few years and will be getting the hell out of Michigan to somewhere warm by an Ocean.

Great post. Good looking rig. I too am in a similar situation 15 months into JL ownership after reading about bad Jeep quality for years. Kids are very cute.

That said, as a side note unrelated to Jeep life. I’d ask everyone to consider carefully about posting pictures of your children (especially your children but I apply this reasoning to any human) on Internet forums. These are public accessible spaces where images can be copied by anyone. They don’t have to copy the file, a screen grab on a high resolution monitor is quite easy to automate via a software robot programmed to automatically scrape websites. Many web companies include in the fine print of their end user license agreement (EULA is usually a click through that is not read by most people) that by posting images and words on their site you are giving them rights to use those images. One of the most aggressive EULA comes from Facebook which claims ownership of photos you post (or at least those were the terms when I signed up for FB years ago).

USAF retirement, so unfortunately I still need to work for a couple more decades :computerrage: unless I win the Lottery. The wife is an Okie and OU Alumni, she recently was offered/accepted a job with OU... So off to Norman, OK we go! The family will be fully moved by the end of this month, I and my Jeep still have a couple more months to play in CO.

Great pics!
Enjoy the young'uns while you can. They grow up fast.

Although, as a Dad, one of my proudest moments was just recently when I sat in the BACK seat of the Jeep (first time for everything), with my soon-to-be daughter in-law, and my two adult sons swapped out turns driving through obstacles and down the trail.

The thought "That's my boys" came into my mind more than once.

Of course, I had to bite my tongue to keep from telling them which lines to pick! They weren't doing it the way I would!

@JoepCO Simply awesome!
Enjoy the time you have with your family, as mentioned, they grow up quickly.

You know what, grandkids are awesome too & they love my Jeep. My kids do to though, they want one now.

But, you're making me miss my dad. He taught me how to drive in a 1948 Willys, he taught me how to work on cars & everything. But, at least I got to do this with my kids & now the grandkids.

Thanks for a great post. And....
Great color choice! :like:

Good piece of consumer security to know, thanks for sharing.
