Reviewing for A Pillar mount, CMM looks good, are there any others that you’re using? Could you post a photo and your likes and dislikes?

saves me from returning something that works poorly.

I use the Passenger Grab bar Ball mount from CMM Offroad to hold an Ipad mini with a Ram mount Tablet holder. It works pretty well for road use, when off road the weight of the Ipad mini combined with the jarring of off road tails tends to cause it to slide down a little. Tightening it very tight works, but its so tight I feel like I might break something. It worked out well for me in that location. The ball it's self is ribbed. I'll see if I can get a picture. Only improvement I can think of for the ball itself, is to rib it slightly perpendicular to the current ribs, giving it a slightly better grip in all directions. Over all the ball holds well when tightened very tight.

I only used it on 1 road trip so far, and for my typical everyday driving I leave it out so i'm not advertising goods to be stolen.
