9/18/22… after the Jeep Jamboree in Killbuck the side steps (N-Fab RS) lost the battle with the rocks so Burt gets new side armor slider/steps (Red Rock)

There's a cover for the flange weld, if you want to get rid of the look of those black bolts.

I tapped into the wiring harness for the usb port inside the console

This is a cool thread to read! I'm a little hesitant to tap into wires, but that rear USB port is awesome, and my kids are always stealing our cords. I may have to attempt this one.

I bought these, and they are powder coated steel strips that just bolt onto those pinch welds.

Looks much better, especially on the yellow. (mine's yellow too)

…Finally pulled the trigger on these after a suggestion by @uawho. Fantastic look, easy install. Despite not being sold on the catalog image, for what they are they do the job!

11/3/23… After riding in the Greenbriar Valley Jeep Jamboree I decided to make getting in/out of Burt easier for the three girls in my family.

Small upgrade but I like the color matching! Painted the original tow hooks (front/back) Hella Yella… man, those tow hooks on the three piece bumper were a B to get off…but I wouldn’t want to paint them unless they were separated. I don’t trust the overspray from the paint!

1/30/24… forced ‘upgrade’ to new OEM steering damper due to “death wobble”… advised fix per the dealer.

3/20/24… Finally got my “5 Jeep dream” of a winch for self recovery off roading.
Rough Country Pro Series 9500 lb w/ synthetic winch line. Easy addition to the 3 piece Rubicon takeoff bumper with the Rough Country winch plate.
