I’m looking for anyone with inside knowledge on what this name badge is all about. The running theory is that this may have been the original name of the Wrangler 4XE. It would have been 4X4e instead of 4XE. Note that the e looks a lot like the e on the 4XE only without the two prongs on the left side of it. Note also that the color around the e is green instead of the blue we know and love.
Here’s the backstory. I have been trying to order 2 additional 4XE logos for my Jeep. I plan on removing the Wrangler Unlimited stickers and replacing them with 4XE logos. I was given a part number but that part ended up being a smoke instead of a chrome. That part number in the Mopar catalog is 68412009AB. So I thought maybe I would order 68412009AA to see if that was the chrome version. But this is what I received.
Anyone that knows the back story, please send me a message. Really interested in what this is.
