Hi,
I have a 2018 Jeep JLUR, about 6 months ago I notice that my screens started bubbling from the left top corner and started expanding bigger and bigger. I assume it was just a plastic protector but I started searching and realize that this is a known issue with Uconnect from 2016-2018. I called Uconnect today and they told me that I need to make an appointment with my local dealer to get it replaced but I’m responsible for the diagnostic fees and they’ll cover for the replacement of my infotainment system. My question is, has this happen to anyone here on the forum? Do you know how much the diagnostic fee is and why do I even have to pay anything out of pocket when it’s their fault to begin with? I understand that I’m out of warranty but this is an issue that occurs from factory with the bad type of glue they use on the screen during that time.
