My back up lines keep disappearing and reappearing. This just started. So is this because of the update or because I need the update? How do I get the update?
Your Jeep came like that from the factory. Jury is still out on whether or not the update fixes it.

I got that too the other day. Hold volume and Tune to reset and it should come back on.
Are you pressing it for 20seconds as mentioned in another thread?
Is it with the Jeep on and in reverse or are you on the backup camera Uconnect setting? Thanks !

Yea, you can turn the Jeep on, park if you have an auto, neutral if you have a MT. Press both at the same time for 20-30 seconds. It will start the reset once you let go.

whats crazy to me is Ive had 2 Rams, a Grand Cherokee and a Durango - and I never had a single issue with backup lines. They all had the 8.4 Unconnect screen too. What could possibly be different in the Wrangler thats causing this issue?

Anyone else get this update as well? Hoping it fixed the disappearing back-up lines. Been driving post-update since saturday and haven't lost the lines... yet

Once update is over, there is a button to see what has been changed but no information given....

TLDR since update -
1. Backup lines have worked for 48 hours
2. Assist features now work (first time since purchase a month ago.)

Anyone else who got this update notice any other changes?

My update just showed on the screen when I turned on engine. I didn't do anything to initiate it.
