Sold: 8.4 Nav UAQ $500

Up for sale is a 8.4 Nav UAQ radio. This particular one is out of a charger/ challenger. The frame/ mounting has been modified to fit into the JL. I had it installed in my JL for about 2 weeks. Bezel fits on it, and everything works EXCEPT the backup camera is green. I updated to 21.1 software hoping to fix it, and it is still green. It has something to do with the wrangler camera combined with the UAQ radio, and not a problem with the radio, because i installed it in my 2016 grand cherokee and the camera works fine, so I dont believe it is a defect in the radio. My 5" radio also works fine, so my camera isn't bad. No modifications are required to the jeep other than moving the threaded insert from one square hole to the next one. No permanent cutting or drilling.

There is a new update, 28.3, that is supposed to fix a symptom of backup camera blue or green. I have been trying to get this update, and have not been successful. It currently is dealer only.

Apple carplay and android auto work, it has "jeep" on the splash screen, and has all the jeep themes. There is a little wear on the anti-glare coating from fingers, but you can't see it when the radio is on. i took a photo of the radio off to show it.

Looking for $500 plus shipping. I have the anti theft code. Bezel is NOT included. priced half the cost of the normal JL NAV unit because of the camera and the wear.
