So If I have the 7 inch screen and go to the 8.4 I don't need to buy another antenna and its basically just plug and play with a new bezel

That's the wifi antenna. If yours doesn't have XM radio, you want that antenna. Mine came with it, so I just added the wifi antenna and I'm not sure of the part number for the XM antenna. I'm sure if you start searching XM antenna you'll find it, or maybe someone else who has ordered it will chime in.

there is miss information with the antennas. I have a 2019 JLU sport s with XM. I went from the 5 inch to 8.4 and I did nothing but plug and play. I have wifi/carplay/xm/nav. I think the only time the antenna makes a difference is if the car dosent have XM. I was under the impression I needed the other antenna as well after reading posts from others. ill post a video tonight of what connections I have and an install of the radio.

Yes, that is what you want. You can find a long precut one on Amazon, might be cheaper, and you can just hide the extra length when you install. That is what I did.

Did you get the LTE antenna? If no antenna is present it won’t show the option on the screen.

I see the option for WiFi hotspot but when I enable it my phone won’t see that network. I’m coming from a 7 inch screen to the 8.4 so is the lte antenna separate or is it part of the XM antenna
