Why can't the link just be posted?
I think because sPOD was doing this as a project run and they won't actually be offering it. Its more of a buy until their stock is out and thats it for that product.

The only thing I’d offer is that when I installed it I did add the extra screws for stability and found that I had to lower the windshield to do it right.
Thanks, got it installed yesterday. Agree that lowering the windshield could have helped a bit, but used a stubby style drill and came out fine. They definitely scare you about drilling holes in the instructions. I'd give the mount an overall 8/10. Quality is 10/10 though.

Which did you order? I got the 02 one. Why the 8/10 rating but 10/10 quality? I'm hoping this is pretty good. I have an angle drill so thinking I can use that. or like you said a snubby.

Well I got around to installing it yesterday. As mentioned by someone else earlier, You'll have a much easier time of installing if you lower the windshield to get it out of the way. The rail is pretty solid. As you can see, I bought the GoPro mount to go with it. As I've mentioned before, I hope to eventually install a spare uConnect USB port at the top of the dash just so I don't have a lightning cable getting in the way. I may just try to relocate the existing USB ports to the top and using the empty space on the dash for something else.

All in all, I'm very happy with this. It is far better than my other attempts at mounting my phone.

Man I just don't know. I really like having my phone just to the left of the screen and not up into view like that. I wish they almost had a rod that bent down a bit instead of straight.
That’s exactly why I gave it a 8/10. I will say that it doesn’t obstruct my view, but still a bit higher than I’d like.

Is there not a different arm configuration you can get?

All that I have seen are a short and longer arm but they are straight. With those mounting balls set so far back you can only lower the arm until it hits the dash.

End of the day I will probably get this system because it allows the versatility. Most times I will only want the one ball for my phone but they when you head out on the trail you can add the balls and all your other gear like GoPro, iPad etc.

I was on the preorder list, but it was only a day or two. I wouldn’t be surprised if yours ships tomorrow (Monday). They seem to ship fast.
