Switched to a President McKinley CB a month or so ago, and it's been great so far. Trying to reorganize/regroup wires and mounting locations for a big trip, and I haven't been able to find any aftermarket parts for the 6-pin mic.
Specifically searching for an extension; I want to reroute the mic so it doesn't get tangled in all the stuff in my cup holders.
But even right-angle connectors don't seem to exist for 6-pins. Rewiring the current mic is a last resort, but I'm also a bit worried about availability of 6-pin mics on the road.
I've a bunch of 4-pin stuff, which is fairly common, but I never see six pin accessories anywhere. Should I just get a 4 pin adapter and use my old stuff? I do have a powered mic that I'm partial to.
