I've been checking around for the year since I got my Rubicon. Does anybody know any information or any dealers have an idea for when some of the 6 inch suspension lifts will be available for the JL's? I'm still running a 2.5 budget boost and can't do much of anything without my tires hitting everything. I had gotten uses to all the room on my old JK. Thanks.

Why would you need 6” for 37s?
JKs have way less clearance than JL Rubicon.

I have another set of rims/tires with 42's I would like some more room for.

The lifts are a bit confusing for the JL's. So if it says it's a 4.5 inch lift and I have a Rubicon with the 2.5 inch spacer lift currently then I would only go up 1 more inch with the 4.5 inch since the shocks and spring on that kit would be rated for 4.5 inches for a sport and the Rubicon already has 1 inch taller springs/shocks. Does that make sense?

The Rubicon doesn't come with a 2.5" spacer lift. The springs on the Rubicon suspension are about 1" (maybe 1.5") longer than the Sport and Sahara springs. So when a manufacturer states they have a 4.5" lift, that's based on what they started with. If they used a Sport for their baseline, then the 4.5" lift on a Rubicon, would actually be a 3.5" (maybe 3") lift. Vice versa, if they used a Rubicon as the baseline, a 4.5" lift for a Sport, would actually lift you 5.5" (Maybe 6"). For instance, Rock Krawler used a Rubicon as the baseline for all of their 4 door lifts, so sports get more lift than they think. While they used a Sport as the baseline for all of the 2 door lifts, so Rubicons get less lift than they think.

Ok that's what I was thinking. I was saying I'm already running a 2.5 inch spacer lift right now. I think if I had something that was around 1.5 to 2 inches taller than where I am now I could run my other tires ok if I trim a few things but the 3.5-4 inch kits I've seen look like they are based off a sport so that would only put me 0.5 inches higher than where I am now with the Rubicon springs/shocks and my RC 2.5 spacer lift. At least I think I'm correct, it's been driving me crazy all night.
