All depends what your budget is and plans are - most people would not even come close to needing the capabilities of a 4K lift.
Iā€™m one of those that donā€™t need the 4K lift. Jeep only goes in the sand. Really just want some nice black wheels and more aggressive tires

I found a local private shop to do the wheel mounting and balancing, $200, the dealer wanted $500. Also, I bought my 33ā€;BFG KO2s from tire rack and had them delivered, $1,175.
$2,800 for 33ā€-35ā€ is steep.

Is 5-6K an average cost for some new wheels, tires and a lift? How much did you spend?

Do you want a lift because of the look or do you plan on going with 37" tires or bigger? For a beach cruiser, 35" tires with no lift should be fine. Are you planning on going with things like replacement inner fenders and rock lights at some point? If so you may want to consider the lift as part of the show that people would see when checking out your ride.

How much height do you truly want out of the lift?
Do you want something that is complete...includes adjustable control arms and track bars/brackets or just springs, shocks, and bump stops?
Would something like a simple (cheap) spacer lift work?
What brands are you partial to? Evo, Metalcloak, Mopar, Rock Krawler, Teraflex?

What brand wheels have you been looking at? Method, KMC, FUEL
Do you like a wide stance so the wheel/tires stick way out?
How wide of a wheel do you want to go (8", 8.5", 9", 10")?
Are you wanting a smaller 17" wheel or looking for a 20" (beach says 20+ to me)?
Do you like the look of a deep dish wheel or prefer to have the face closer to the outside of the wheel?
Do you want something that has a simulated bead lock or smooth lip?
Solid black wheel or would a black/silver, black/white be ok?

I know you said more aggressive on the tire but are you looking for an all-terrain or a mud terrain?
Size of wheel may determine width but do you think you want a 12.50 or 13.50 width tire?

Wheels/tires/lift are for looks and to make it my Jeep. Wheels have to be matte black and I want something classic like a baha or the newer willys style. Was leaning towards falken all terrain tires or maybe K02 with white letters. Donā€™t want any rubbing issues which is why Iā€™d lift it. Was thinking the mopar 2.5 lift but also keeping my eye out for any Rubicon take off parts. Donā€™t want a wide stance.

Basically I donā€™t want to spend more money for parts Iā€™m not going to get any enjoyment out of and also donā€™t want to cheap out and have regrets or make the ride less enjoyable than it is now.

Thats the going rate if you just want to drop it off at a shop and pick it up when its ready... if you can install your own stuff and are crafty you can cut that almoat in half depending on what level of mods you want on your suspension.

Interested in possible 35s on mine. I will occasionally go in beach which is pretty flat. No real dunes. No lift should be ok on a Rubi?

Where the hell did you find Mopar beadocks for that cheap? Were they missing the trim ring or something? Used?
