Its pretty straight forward, we have a machine that attaches to the transmission cooler lines that performs an exchange of fluids using a chamber with a piston separating old and new. The transmission pumps the fluids itself.Not sure how that is working given nearly all transmissions these days have to be between a certain range of temperature for all of the ports to open and many take very specialized fluids, but yeah, dealers are not always on top of technology.
