I am taking these off my Jeep tonight. They have been used for rock crawling quite a bit. I bought them from LOD already powdercoated black, but since they have been used, I have been touching up the coating regularly. As the scratches occur on the underside (a little on the lip too) the touchups and scratches really aren't noticeable from normal viewing positions. Update: I took these off Monday night and found the passenger side (under) has a good sized dent. Must have happened when I was wheeling Saturday. I didn't notice there was a dent until they were removed as the underside isn't really visible from normal viewing positions when its on the vehicle. As such I lowered the price substantially. I'd go free but the extra work of selling it needs to be more appealing than just throwing them in the dumpster at work.
The driver side on my setup sits tighter to the body than the passenger side. This may just be from how I mounted them, but maybe not. You can't see both sides at the same time so it never really bothered me.
These make for a great step and do a great job blocking water/debris coming off the front tires from hitting the body of the Jeep. I recommend if you plan to hit rocks with them that you additionally install rocker body armor. If you don't plan to rock crawl then its not necessary.
Northridge4x4 has these at $890. I'll sell these for $50 as-is local pickup only. (Colorado - Live in Arvada, work near I-25/84th ave exit) I have all the hardware to go with it.
I personally don't think its necessary to get them recoated, but even if you chose to, this should still be a decent deal for someone.
I'll post pictures after I get them off and cleaned up.
