5.13 gears 35 inch tires and 8 speed auto

Another important factor is which T-case you have, if it's the Sport/Sahara case I wouldn't hesitate to go 5.13.

I currently have 4.88 on 35's. with the V6. I am very happy with the performance on and offroad. I do see 8th gear all the time. In town driving I average about 13MPG's. She will def get up and go. I have not had any problems on the trails at all. Lots of torque and climbed right up hells gate in moab without breaking a sweat. Highway mpgs is about 15 to 16 at 65 to 70mph. Anything over that an mpgs begins to tank. at 70mph I set at about 2000 rpms. Hope this helps a bit.

8spd auto or 6spd manual? Reading about your mileage or lack there of has me quite confused because I get better mileage both in the city and the highway in my Sport S with the stock 3.45's on 35's. Strictly city driving has me at 16/17mpg, highway has me 20/21, and that's without 8th gear. I'd certainly expect mileage to improve if I bumped up to 4.88's.

I am thinking 5.13 gears with 35s will fell like a dam race car around town. I run 5.13 gears with 37s and 40s. I can spin the tires on pavement out of the hole. With 35s it should hustle around town and be fun to drive.

I know that with 37s and 4.10 gears I had a zero to 60 time of about nine and half seconds. The 5.13 gears knocked about a second and a half of time off the zero to sixty times. It was a big deal.
