Laugh all you want. I've had five Wranglers, all unmodified, since the late 1990s. All but one (the first one) were problem-free (unless you want to nitpick about over-inflated tires and poorly seated fuses).

Thank you for the research. Though 2018 F-250 is not a first year vehicle, it still helps put things in perspective.
I could be wrong but this isn’t the first year Jeeps done a Wrangler.

I voted “no problems” at 5k with my julr. Of course I did buy it from a dealer with 4600 miles on it so it’s possible the previous owner had issues. I’ve put a bit over 1200 miles on it in 2 weeks and no issues. The only thing I’ve noticed is difficulty in going into 4H and especially 4L. I see from the threads here that is common and may be either a linkage adjustment issue or just shifting into 4 L/H a few times to “break it in”.

No issues with the rear washer nozzle. It’s a soft top!

No, but it is a new model (JL), unlike the "2018 F-150" you referenced. The JL is the first Wrangler designed by Fiat.
Fiat has owned the Jeep brand since Jan 21st 2014. At the end of the day an F-250 is an F-250 and a Wrangler is a Wrangler. Sure subtle changes will come with time as things advance. But, at the end of the day, this isn’t in my opinion a TRUE first year vehicle. The Gladiator will be IMO.

Have you run the Jl in the cold, out in the snow. How's that front window defroster working on your problem free JL ?

This kind of word parsing is what kills me on this forum. First year for a new design is implied!! F250 came out as 2017. F150 came out as a 2015.
They really reinvented the wheel with this “new” wrangler let me tell ya.

Reality is EVERY JL owner has had or should have had, taken their JL into the Service Department for some type of fix.

If they did not bring their JL in, then they are oblivious to things that are a muck on their JL, are ignoring recalls from FCA, etc., or they have fixed the issue themselves.

I have had assorted issues but have fixed them myself. Yes, have had service department do necessary computer flashes, twice now. They replaced a yellowing Bright White grill and one grill molding, also.

I have about 9,000 miles on the odometer.

I laugh each time I read a JL owner here saying they have a JL that is perfect, has nothing wrong with it, no quirks, no hiccups.
Ok, I guess I'll make you laugh, everything good! 10K +

Maybe I shouldn't type this out loud, but other than the recall (which has yet to be checked), I've had zero issues. I bought my 2018 JLU on June 28 and presently have just over 16,000 miles on it. Guess I have a rare anomaly. Must be the cool punk'n color I chose!

@Jondrew

Yes, I do laugh when I see utter bullchitt and crapola posted.

By the way, by my username, note the count on the likes in relation to the posts... This is indicative of something.

Mine must be a mess because it can't even pass Inspection in 30 days.

The things I find entertaining is people make excuses for shit like tire pressure and fuses. Seriously, these are MINIMUM expectations to be right. Its damn near $60,000 fully equipped! You are literally paying for this to be right if anything the second you pick it up because afterwards its no longer new and you take a hit.
