I believe he was talking about the proximity keyless system and not the all time 4 wheel drive. I regret I didn't get the proximity keyless system. The only vehicle I have to pull my keys out for. Sucks when you are carrying stuff or keys are hard to get to. As for the all wheel drive system, I believe he was reminding him he needed to pick that as an option with the on-line regular build to get a comparison price to the 4Xe.
Yes ^^^ this

Great analysis. Just remember that the 4xe will still cost more at the time of sale (higher price point and less of a discount at most dealers). The full tax credits will only be realized around April of the following year and only if your tax liability is $10,000+ for Colorado.
We are putting in an order today in CO. I found the info on the Fed tax credit w/liability, but where is the info on the Colorado credit that discusses the $10k liability. All I found was it's $2,500 for 2021-2023 and it can be applied at purchase or via tax return.

Tech package (8.4 screen, Nav etc.) is standard in Rubicon, body color fender is an option.

We were asked to choose color fenders as an option in our build. We did not choose that option. Guess we will se what happens. Looks like the one being built in this video has black fenders: The 4xE in the video is also the body color we chose, I like the slight color difference.

Can these be ordered without the massive hood decal? How hard is it to remove if not?

I got the black fenders with my Rubicon order. Body color fenders are standard on the Sahara.

I wish we could get the black hardtop. I'm not a fan of the painted top.

4xe should qualify for the $7500 if the Toyato Rav 4 prime is going to qualify.

The 4xe currently meets all requirements fir the fed $7500 tax credit. However, one of the criteria in the tax code is the manufacturer must have sold less than 200,000 vehicles that qualify. Right now it qualifies but when you add the sales of the Pacifica Hybrid, I’m not sure where Chrysler is with sales on these vehicles.

it was stated in another thread, and I believe it's about 28k have been sold.

you can get black hardtop at some point, if not that's dumb.

We plan on getting the rav4 prime this summer, and I'm thinking the 4xe as well. Will depend on how tax deduction for business works (for me personally).
