4XE Rubi Coils on JLUR

Can anyone confirm that Rubi 4XE coils will add 1" lift to a Stock 3.6 Rubi?
I know there are differences in the hardtop, metal bumper and such options.
I've also seen the coil chart per Wrangler model but it does not have the 4XE option on it.

I would expect it gives a 2 door at least 2" lift. Try it!

Yeah, a bit of a gamble, but someone’s got to try this setup first. I’m picking it up tomorrow afternoon. We will see…. Talked to mechanic on the phone earlier about it - he said it came out good, and they were just about to do the alignment. Below is how it went into the shop with stock suspension and 33 inch falkens… fingers crossed

Looks great. Looks like 2" lift from stock for a 2 door and looks perfect for 33s!

Thanks. It went into the shop dead level at exactly 37” ground-to-fender on all four corners, and 4.75 inches between tires and fenders. So measuring the difference is gonna be easy. I’m guessing I’ll get a bit of front to back rake due to the spring setup, but given that I was at level to begin with, it may not be a bad thing - kinda like the “stock” half inch rake if I get it and still get the height. We’ll see!

I am going to guess 2” lift on a JLUR. Since the 4xe Rubi is 800. To 1000 lbs heavier.

i am guessing 2.5” to3” in the rear of a 2 dr. I am also guessing that the ride will be miserable in a 2 door. The 2 door will probably have approx 1200 lbs less on the rearcoils and shocks than a 4xe Rubi due to the battery & the extra length. I expect those shocks and coils will make the rear end bounce around, and not really absorb much.

i think they would work great for someone looking to do an overland build who is going to put on an rtt, as well as load up a lot in the back.

no matter what, i hope it works out the way you want.

definitely let us know, as this is merely speculation right now based upon data & experience.

No big deal - I regularly transport my collection of 40+ bowling balls in the back at any given time, so I should be good!

But, in all seriousness, you could be right about the firm ride. That was my number one concern, too. We’ll see when I pick it up in the next couple of hours!
