All electric 6.5 miles were to the interstate. Of the 112.5 miles of hybrid, roughly 20 miles were below 45 mph. The rest of the miles were at 80 mph. The transmission never went into 8th gear. The engine cruised at 2700 to 2800 rpm's. I'm very happy with the results as my JLU Willys with the 3.6 got 12 mpg. I never lacked power. Btw the speed limit is 75 mph for those questioning the speed 🙂

Not too bad. I get 15 with my JK and 35’s. How many all electric miles can you get on 37’s on day to go non highway driving?

Well it was initially 21 but lately I've gotten as high as 24. My max on stock was 26.

Hmmm... I get about 20.1 mpg in my Willys (3.6). So, calculating the difference between your Willys mpg and my Willys (12/20 = 0.6) and holding driving characteristics even, you should be able to hit somewhere around 39.68 mpg (24.8*0.6=14.88+24.8=39.68).

Jeep Wrangler JL 4XE MPG from 120 mile trip on 37's 20210529_180355
I am surprised that you picked up zero additional electric distance after the first 6.5 miles. I find that when running in hybrid mode with completely stock Rubicon, about 8-15% of my miles are all electric since there is some regen braking and going downhill. Tach drops to zero so I see the ICE switching off when that happens, and of course this is more noticeable in local driving than highway, but you still should have seen some. After 5 weeks, I finally put gas in my JLURe, about 8 gallons total and dash showed 191 miles using gasoline only. However, that 23.9 mpg number is bumped by whatever regen miles got added on top (10% would bring me to 26.3 mpg) but I didn't track them for the entire 510 miles since new. That figure corresponds with the 26-28 mpg number the dash reads if I reset after electricity is used up and I run in hybrid mode. Note center of your dash only shows 17.7 mpg.

I got 12 mpg on the trip with the Willys on a Mopar 2 inch lift with Falken 37's.

After the 6.5 miles, I was doing 80 mph so the ICE was needed running this type of setup. You can see from my rpm's the ICE wasn't working hard because it was supplemented by the electric motor. I assume the trip computer only records all electric in the electric miles.

17.7 mpg is displayed and that is about what a 2.0L will get in 7th with 37's. Nothing amazing to see here; in fact a bit disappointed it did not do better on the EV side.

It would have if I had more pure electric and your 17.7 with 37's is at 80 mpg? My 3.6 was only 12 mpg. All I know is I got 5 mpg better than I was which is great with me. I'm sure I'd love what you feel it should get but the 4Xe is more about the pure electric range than distance mpg. It does carry more battery weight. I did go 730 miles before my first fill up and it wasn't a full fill up. I also had a lot more power than a 2.0.

At highway speeds, the 4Xe getting the same mpg (per your one instance data point) as a 2.0L turbo is good news to me. The 4Xe is carrying a lot of extra weight (batteries) but according to your and Sboden's reports, the 4Xe is no worse at highway speeds than the non-hybrid 2.0L. City driving, the 4Xe seems to be better than any non-hybrid Jeep, so I think the win goes to the 4Xe.

I am wondering if you would get much better performance and economy with changing gear ratios. As the 4xe pure-electric side of the system is only 130hp it maybe struggling with the 37's.
