I’ve combed through many threads and still don’t quite understand what to be most concerned of with my Mopar 2” lift.

I received my crate last week, with the born on date of Nov 2020. The installation is scheduled with the dealership on August 10th.

Has their been a way to identify the defective coils which create an improper bow? I’ve heard there was a second batch of kits released in April which corrected the issue.

I spoke with my dealership and of course they said there hasn’t been a known issue with the kit and assume all will go well. What can or should I do prior to install to ensure I won’t have an issue after install?

Thanks in advance for any advise, and my apologies for not quite knowing what or how to properly state my issue.

This is from a Lifted 4xe Facebook page from user @eLECTRICON, who is active on here as well:
Lift kit number: 77072522

Sahara spring part numbers:
Rear Passenger 68253589AA
Rear Driver 68253588AA
Front Driver 68253657AB
Front Passenger 68253658AB
Rubicon spring part numbers:
Rear Passenger 68253591AA
Rear Driver 68253590AA
Front Driver 68253659AB
Front Passenger 68253660AB

I ordered my 4xe and lift at the same time in early May. Jeep arrived at the end of June. Lift kit arrived mid-July. From what Ive read, the wait for the lift was due to Mopar recalling the lift to put larger/stiffer springs in this kit specific to the 4xe. I had the 2" Mopar lift on my Sahara 4xe a few weeks ago. I got about 2.25" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. The front dropped 0.25" when I added a steel bumper and winch.

What are you running for tires with the Mopar lift?

Sorry that I don’t have more info but I know I saw somewhere the measurements for the old and new springs. Maybe in a Facebook group. I will try to find it again.

Thanks for the info. I will check part numbers and report back. Have you had any issues with the lift? Are you happy with the overall stance? Mine is also a Sahara (high altitude).

Are those the stock spring numbers? Here’s the lift part list from a member here.

Ive got 315/70r17 KO2s. I thought about true 35s, but with the 4xe I didnt want to add too much weight with tires, and that size is 1/2 narrower than 35/12.50s and will actually fit into the tire channel at the car wash. My wheels are +01mm backspacing and the tires stick out about 2", which is what I wanted. That size was also cheaper and more readily available than 33" tires.

Love the stance. Rides great. I think at full flex I would have some rubbing, but Im going to ease my way back into wheeling. Ive got two young kids, this is my daily driver, and its been 12 years since Ive owned a Jeep and done any wheeling.

I do hear a little 'clunking' in the front end when I go over a speed bump--at slow speeds. It could be the lift settling, not sure. If its still doing that in a month or so I'll call the dealership. This was the first 4xe lift they had done and dont do many Jeeps, so perhaps something needs adjusting. Good luck!

Im not 100%, I only reposted what Electrion posted on a FB group. Perhaps he can weigh in.

*edit--went out and looked at mine. Ive got the spring listed on this parts page. Except my front springs are backwards....

With all of these posts about issues with the springs and limited lift for a Rubicon 4xe, I think I'm going a different route for my lift. May cost a few $'s and not have the benefits of Mopar warranty but I still think true aftermarket may be best.

Just remember your an inch higher stock, in addition to the extra weight. Trail Recon has a good YouTube vid with actual heights for 6 different lifts on a V6 Rub.
