I have a Sahara 4xe on order and will be swapping the wheels/tires to 17" KMC wheels and 285/70/17 BFG KO2's upon arrival. From reading through a lot of threads the 4xe's are about an inch higher than non-4xe's. That combined with the slightly larger tire had me thinking of swapping out the stock LCA's for the Mopar lift LCA's that are just a bit longer.

Looking for advice... Good Idea, Bad Idea, not needed???

Tires are getting swapped before I pick it up. Can't drive it off the lot with 20" wheels and road tires :puke:

Was just thinking I would have the LCA's done at the same time... if anyone thought there would be a potential issue.

285/70r17s (stock 392 wheels and tire swap). Nothing else was needed.

How does it handle? Steering tight, no wandering?
Basically the same as stock. Granted, I just did this and haven't taken her out on the highway yet, but nothing I've experienced while driving around town (up to 65-70 mph) has suggested an issue. My steering was loose and wandering when I get her new, but that was due to the tires being super overinflated (42psi). Taking it down to 36 fixed that.
